We don’t require proof or disclosure of disability or diagnosis to use this ticket. Weekend Passes are $279 + BF, Saturday Day Passes are $159 + BF and Friday Day Passes are $99 + BF, with each of these tickets including entry for two people.

A handbook with all accessibility information will be distributed via email to accessibility customers prior to the event. Accessibility customers and their companions can use our accessibility facilities and chill out zones during the festival. More details about the chill out zones are in the information below. Entry into these zones will require you to show your accessibility wristband, and is accessed through the Customer Service Hub tent.

Getting to the Festival

Festival Location

Twominds Festival is located at Spencer Beach Top 10 Holiday Park, 100 Heyders Road, Spencerville, Christchurch 8083. By car, this is approximately 25 minutes from Christchurch City Center or 30 minutes from Christchurch International Airport.

Parking

There will be a mobility carpark and drop-off zone for Mobility Parking Permit Holders in the backstage area close to the main stage. This a grass carpark with flat, hard ground, and space away from thoroughfare for vehicles with rear ramps to operate safely. We ask that you book a mobility carpark while purchasing your tickets if you are planning to have your vehicle parked for the duration of the event. If you do not hold a Mobility Parking Permit and require access to this carpark, please get in contact and we can happily sort this for you.

Shuttle Buses

Shuttle buses organised by Twominds Festival will operate between Christchurch City Centre and the festival site. Timetables and tickets will be released closer to the event. These shuttle buses are 50-passenger private coaches equipped with steps for boarding, and are not wheelchair accessible.

Site Accessibility

Wider Campsite Grounds

Spencer Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park is a grass campground connected by paved roads with judder bars. All grassed areas are level and free of potholes, with firm, dry ground suitable for navigation by wheelchair. See map here

Festival Site Grounds

There is a wide gravel road running through the length of the festival site, however travel over grass is required to reach all stages, vendors, and facilities. Our Forest Stage has uneven sandy ground, with roots and low shrubbery. See the gallery below for aerial views of the festival site.

Accessibility Specific Services

Assistance for Hearing and Sight Impairments

We are currently unable to provide facilities such as hearing loops, Braille transcriptions, and sign language interpreters. Our team understands that this may affect your experience with us, and we are eager to support however we can—please reach out ahead of the event, or onsite, if there’s anything we can do to make your time at the festival better.

Hidden Disabilities Sunflower

While we are not an officially accredited organisation through the programme, our staff are educated on awareness around this initiative, and will do our best to support and welcome you.

Service Animals

Registered service animals are welcome across all areas of the site. Water stations and shaded resting spots are available, please talk to our customer service hub to access these facilities.

Lowered Service Areas

When building the site, we will do our best to create lowered service areas across our bars and vendors where possible. For bar and vendor counters where we cannot accommodate this, festival staff will be on hand to assist with service.

Bringing Your Own Food

Outside food is allowed for Access Customers with medical or dietary needs, and can be stored by our access team within fridges located in the Zone-1 Chill-out Space. This service is limited to access customers. There is a strict no glass policy within the festival site which extends to food packaging and reusable containers.

Medications

Prescription medications are permitted but must remain in original, labeled packaging. Access customers can safely store all medications and medical equipment in the Zone-1 Chill-out Space. This will work similarly to a coat-check, to ensure your medication and equipment is not misplaced, damaged or mixed with somebody else’s. Medication and medical equipment made of glass are exempt from our site’s no-glass policy.

Bio-Hazard Disposal

A disposal bin for sharps and bio-hazard waste will be located in the Zone-1 Chill-out Space next to the medication and medical equipment storage space.
