HOW DO I GET TO TWOMINDS FESTIVAL?

Twominds Festival is held at Spencer Beach Top 10 Holiday Park, Christchurch, New Zealand located at 100 Heyders Road, Spencerville, Christchurch 8083. The venue is a 25-minute drive from Christchurch city center, a 30-minute drive from Christchurch International Airport, and easily accessible by car or shuttle bus.

WHERE IS THE ENTRANCE?

The entrance is through the main Spencer Park Campground gates. Look for festival signage directing you to our carpark.

ARE THERE SHUTTLE BUSES TO THE FESTIVAL?

Yes, shuttle buses will operate between Christchurch city center and the festival site. Timetables and tickets will be released closer to the event. Keep an eye out for updates on social media and emails from us.

CAN I PARK ONSITE?

Yes, but you will need a parking pass:

  • $20 per car (for vehicles with two or fewer passengers if purchased online).

  • $30 per car (at the gate).

  • FREE parking for cars with three or more passengers.

IS THERE WI-FI OR CELL PHONE RECEPTION ONSITE?

There is no public Wi-Fi available at the festival. Cellphone reception is available but may be patchy in some areas of the site.

WHAT ARE THE GATE OPENING AND CLOSING TIMES?

Friday 15th March: Gates open at 2 PM, last entry at 8 PM
Saturday 16th March: Gates open at 12 PM, last entry at 5 PM
Sunday 17th March: Gates are closed, and the site must be cleared by 2 PM

WHEN DO THE STAGES OPEN AND CLOSE?

Friday 15th March: Stages open at 4 PM and close at 2 AM
Saturday 16th March: For weekend ticket holders there will be acoustic music from early morning - 8:30 AM, and the campground stage will close at 4 AM. For day pass holders the stages open at 12 PM in the main festival site and close at 2 AM

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN MY TICKET?

Weekend Pass: Includes entry to all festival events, access to the campsite, and use of all facilities (showers, toilets, cooking zones).
Day Pass: Provides access to the festival on Friday or Saturday only. Camping is not included, but can be upgraded online or at our Customer Service Tent. 

CAN I UPGRADE MY TICKET?

Yes, you can upgrade your day pass to a weekend pass online. Visit the Customer Service Tent onsite to complete the upgrade.

CAN I COME AND GO DURING THE FESTIVAL?

Yes, re-entry is permitted. You must be wearing your festival wristband when leaving and returning through the main gates, note last entry times are strict and if you are not back in by those times, you will not be allowed back in, despite already having a wristband.
Last entry Friday: 8 PM
Last entry Saturday: 5 PM

ARE TICKETS TRANSFERABLE?

Yes, tickets are transferable via Flicket. Follow the instructions on Flicket’s platform to complete a name change or resale.

DO CHILDREN NEED TICKETS?

Twominds Festival is an R18 event. No one under the age of 18 is permitted to attend.

WHAT CAN’T I BRING?

  • Alcohol or drugs. 

  • Any item considered to be a weapon or able to be used as a weapon including knives, sharp objects, etc;

  • Glass in any form, excluding small packaging including, for example, make-up or perfume; 

  • Stoves, grills, generators, or gas canisters and other flammable materials like sky lanterns, paraffin lamps, candles, fireworks, etc. 

  • Gang patches or gang affiliated clothing;

  • Laser devices, spray cans and marker pens;

  • Metal head hammers. Only rubber or plastic hammers are permitted for assembling tents; 

  • Signs or materials displaying discriminatory, derogatory or offensive messages or slogans; and 

  • Any other dangerous items posing risk to persons or property. 

 

The event, and security reserve the right to confiscate any potentially harmful items or substances at our discretion on entry to the car parks or festival gates.

IS THE FESTIVAL WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Yes, Twominds Festival offers wheelchair-accessible paths, parking, and toilets. Some areas are grassy and uneven, so we recommend preparing for those surfaces. View our full accessibility information here

 

HOW DO I REQUEST A COMPANION TICKET?

WHAT ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES ARE AVAILABLE ONSITE?

  • Accessible toilets throughout the festival and campsite.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD FOR MEDICAL REASONS?

Yes, but you must email access@twomindsfestival.com for pre-approval.

ARE SERVICE ANIMALS ALLOWED?

Yes, registered service animals are welcome. Pets are not permitted onsite. Please let us know in advance though, access@twomindsfestival.com.

WHERE CAN I SEE THE FULL LINEUP?

The full line-up is available on the Twominds Festival website. 

 

DO YOU HAVE ACTIVITIES APART FROM THE MUSIC?

Yes, Twominds Festival offers a variety of activities. The full schedule of activities will be released closer to the festival.

 

WHAT TIME ARE THE DAY SPLITS, SET TIMES AND ACTIVITIES ANNOUNCED?

​Day splits, set times and activity schedules will be shared in early 2025.

WHAT CAMPING FACILITIES ARE INCLUDED WITH MY TICKET?

The campground includes:

  • Hot showers and flushing toilets.

  • Use of campground BBQ kitchen facilities for cooking

  • Access to power points for charging devices (located in the bathrooms)

  • Paid use of washer/dryer within campground

WHAT SHOULD I BRING FOR CAMPING?

We recommend bringing:

  • Tent and sleeping gear

  • Reusable water bottles (no glass)

  • Warm clothing and appropriate bedding as the evenings get cold

  • Rain protection

  • Sunscreen, insect repellent

  • Late night snacks

 

CAN I BRING A CAMPERVAN?

Yes, but you must purchase a Campervan Pass ($80). Campervan spaces are limited and include access to all campground facilities. Campervan powered hookups are available on a first come first serve basis. 

WHAT ACCOMMODATION UPGRADES ARE AVAILABLE?

Twominds Festival offers a range of accommodation upgrades including: 
Tourist Flats: Private bathroom, kitchen, and bedding provided. Sleeps 4 
Studio Units: Open-plan with private facilities and bedding. Sleeps 5
Standard Cabins: Basic bunk rooms with shared bathrooms. Guests must bring their own bedding. Sleeps 4 or 5.

DO I GET BEDDING WITH ACCOMMODATION UPGRADES?

For Tourist Flats and Studio Units, bedding is included, you will need to bring your own towels. For Standard Cabins, you will need to bring your own bedding and towels. 

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINK?

Yes, snacks are allowed. Cooking is only permitted in the designated BBQ zones. Sealed non-alcohol drinks can be bought into the festival. As we are a fully licensed event, BYO alcohol is not permitted. We do have an ample number of bars with a great selection of drinks at reasonable prices.

WHAT FOOD AND DRINK OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE ONSITE?

The festival will feature food vendors offering a range of cuisines, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Bars onsite will serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

ARE WATER STATIONS AVAILABLE?

Yes, free potable water stations are located throughout the festival grounds. Bring a reusable water bottle (no glass).

WHAT SHOULD I DO IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY?

Follow instructions from festival staff or security, they will direct you to the nearest emergency exit (marked in red or green). Proceed to the assembly point near Heyders Road. Any serious emergencies will be broadcasted over stage PAs.

IS THERE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE ONSITE?

Yes, St. John’s medical staff will be available throughout the festival. First aid kits are also located at the Customer Service Tent and Main Bar.

WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH SECURITY?

We heard your feedback last year, and have developed our own experienced festival security team that run with our values. Additionally, there will be a P4G security presence throughout the site. Ultimately they’re there to keep us all and the event safe for everyone. 
Please feel comfortable approaching them about absolutely anything during the festival, as their only job is to keep you safe.

CAN I BRING PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION?

Yes, but all medication must be in its original, labeled packaging with your name on it that matches ID.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE SOMETHING?

Lost items will be stored at the Customer Service Hub during the festival. After the event, email hello@twomindsfestival.co.nz to enquire about unclaimed items.

IS THE FESTIVAL CASHLESS?

Yes, Twominds Festival is cashless. EFTPOS and credit/debit cards are accepted at all bars, food vendors, and merchandise stalls.

CAN I WITHDRAW CASH ONSITE?

No, there are no ATMs onsite. Ensure you have sufficient funds available on your card.

CAN I VISIT THE BEACH DURING THE FESTIVAL?

Yes, the beach is accessible via a designated walking trail. The trail is only open during Surf Lifesaver hours, which will be clearly posted onsite.

IS THE BEACH SAFE FOR SWIMMING?

Yes, the beach is monitored by lifeguards during Surf Lifesaver hours. Always follow safety instructions and stay within designated swimming areas

WHAT ARE THE WASTE MANAGEMENT POLICIES?

Twominds Festival is committed to sustainability. Please:
Be mindful of what you bring onto site in the first place and adopt a leave no trace policy

  • Use designated rubbish, organic and recycling bins onsite.

  • Bring reusable water bottles and cups.

  • Avoid bringing unnecessary packaging.

  • Take your tents and camping equipment home with you
